We’re pleased to announce our first MBD Using Modern GD&T course for 2020. This class has proved highly valuable to engineering professionals interested in expanding their knowledge of Model-Based Definition (MBD) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). MBD Using Modern GD&T will take place March 3-5, 2020 in Golden, Colorado.
Ryan Gelotte, CTO of Action Engineering, and Scott Neumann, Senior Partner and Chief Project Engineer at Technical Consultants Inc., will co-instruct the course. They have several segments planned which will include a variety practical exercises you can work through using your own computer and your preferred CAD software program. That’s correct: we are teaching in a CAD agnostic environment.
“The instructors were knowledgeable, animated and made what can easily be a very dull subject, fun and interesting. I learned a lot and had fun doing it. Well done.”
– Rick Frederickson, MIT Lincoln Laboratory

For good MBD, you need proper GD&T. Drawings are okay, but MBD is better. If you’ve dipped your toes into Model-Based Definition, then you know the devil is in the details. GD&T and MBD experts will guide you through the What, Why, and How of Model-Based Definition and the right way to apply GD&T for MBD.
You Will Learn:
- The What, Why, and How of Model-Based Definition
- GD&T the Right Way for Model-Based Definition – how to implement the latest offerings of the ASME Y14.5-2018 standard
Who Should Attend?
Engineering professionals in any industry segment presently working in or interested in learning more about:
- Model-Based Definition (MBD)
- Model-Based Enterprise (MBE)
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Digital Product Definition
- Technical Data Packages
- Digital Manufacturing
- Digital Twin
We’ve also had undergraduate engineering students join us. They report they’ve learned more over three days than they have across an entire course term.
