Golden, CO, October 19, 2020 – Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Action Engineering will not hold an in-person 3D Collaboration & Interoperability Congress (3D CIC) event in 2021. Action Engineering expects to resume the in-person event in February 2022 in Golden, Colorado. Exact dates and venue details will be announced at a later date.
“While we are disappointed to cancel 3D CIC for 2020 and 2021, everyone’s safety must come first,” says Kate Hubbard, 3D CIC Director. “We look forward to reconvening with our industry peers when conditions are again safe for travel and large-group meetings.”
In the absence of the in-person event, Action Engineering will continue to host free virtual 3D CIC: Home Edition sessions into 2021 to continue connecting the Model-Based Enterprise community. Submit an abstract if you are interested in nominating yourself or someone else to speak at one of these monthly events.
“This summer’s 3D CIC: Home Edition sessions have been extremely well-received by the MBE community. Sharing and learning about MBE successes and challenges is what 3D CIC is all about. While the virtual sessions are no replacement for face-to-face networking, this keeps the MBE conversations going until we can meet in-person in 2022,” says Jennifer Herron, Action Engineering CEO.
