Creating an Optimized Culture for Enterprise Accountability: Applying the Five Laws of Human Motivational Dynamics
How do we as leaders create an organizational culture that maximizes efficiency and quality throughout the product lifecycle? Three-Dimensional Annotated Modeling enables all team members access to a single source of truth. But… why do mix-ups and other roadblocks to efficiency still rear their ugly heads? People. Humans are multidimensional, extremely complex and influenced by factors that seem to violate the laws of physics.
Each of our team members, regardless of how skilled and committed they are, does not come with a 3D annotated model. Even if they did, the models would be too complicated to interpret and would change at least seven times per week.
Fortunately, science provides Five Laws of Human Motivational Dynamics leaders can use to optimize their teams for high levels of efficiency, quality, and commitment. For over one hundred years, research in a variety of social and psychological disciplines has revealed consistent findings. In his keynote address, Dr. Charles Fay of the Love and Logic Institute will describe the following, as well as practical strategies for application:
- The Law of Relational Power: How to bolster personal responsibility and accountability through relationships.
- The Law of High Expectations: Tips for establishing high expectations that bring high payoffs.
- The Law of Psychological Reactance: How to avoid power struggles that derail the product lifecycle.
- The Law of Anxiety and Performance: Why responsive anxiety management is one of the keys to success.
- The Law of System Reactivity and Roles: How to put an end to team drama.

Love and Logic Institute, Inc.
Charles Fay, Ph.D. is a parent, internationally recognized author, consultant and highly skilled public speaker.
Millions of educators, mental health professionals, and parents world-wide have benefited from his practical and down-to-earth solutions to the most common and frustrating behaviors displayed by youth of all ages. These solutions come directly from years of research and clinical experience serving severely disturbed youth and their families in psychiatric hospitals, public and private schools, and homes.
Dr. Fay’s interest in education and psychology were peaked as a child from years of exposure to some of our nation’s most dynamic experts in these fields. This early exposure came as a result of participation in training events with his father, Jim Fay. Jim is one of the nation’s leading experts on child discipline and has over fifty years of experience in public education. The internationally recognized Love and Logic approach was literally developed around Charles Fay as he grew. Now he jokes, “I think that’s why I became a psychologist… just to figure out what they were doing to me as a kid. But… let me be clear… I absolutely adore my mom and dad as a result.”
