Join us for a 3D CIC: Home Edition virtual event on August 26, 2020, to learn about the people piece of successful MBE adoption.
The technical tools are often the easy part. Join our social scientist Rhiannon Gallagher as she introduces you to the social science tools behind successful MBE adoption. She will take a group of Action Engineering Personas through some of the ways we can make this an organizational change, not just an engineering one.
We are familiar with each of these personas in our own lives, and this session will be especially valuable for:
- The Pennys and Tylers: Engineering and Process Champions who are ready to do more.
- The Ericas: Managers who need help making the case to higher levels or other organizational units.
- The Mikes: Manufacturing Engineers who can see the value but aren’t sure how to bring others up to speed.
- Anyone who has created pockets of MBD practice but needs to increase adoption across their organization.

Live audience Q&A will follow the presentation.

Meet Rhiannon
Rhiannon Gallagher heads the team of social scientists at Action Engineering that focuses on the people of the MBE transformation. Our social scientists conduct the analysis, create the plans, and design the communication strategies that help people make the transition to a model-based enterprise. Culture does eat strategy for breakfast, but strategy that includes culture wins the day. Bringing the insights of sociology, psychology, and other social sciences into our MBE coaching is one of the unique ways Action assists customers. Rhiannon began her career in technology, designing online community systems in the early days of the web. After teaching and designing courses on a variety of technical topics, she focused her career on improving the usability of computer applications and websites for industries from medicine to mining. Rhiannon is excited to expand the integration of social science within the MBE implementation coaching services delivered by Action Engineering. She has a BA in Geography and English from Macalester College, a Fulbright Scholarship to University College London, and has done graduate work in Human Factors Engineering.
Action Engineering is hosting a series of free virtual events for the MBE community. These sessions leading up to 3D CIC feature industry experts, vendor interviews, and group discussions. Find out more at 3DCIC.com.
