Action Engineering continues to grow with the addition of Duane Hess. Duane is responsible for PDM/PLM integration and training, technical writing, and general business management.
“I’m excited to make the transition to the team at Action Engineering. The growth potential that I see for myself personally and professionally, as well as for Action Engineering is phenomenal,” states Duane.
Duane most recently fulfilled the role of Project Coordinator for a major manufacturer. His previous experience is broad, from PDM/PLM administration to LEGO model design. A lifelong student, Duane seeks out new opportunities for personal growth in a variety of interests from mechanical design, to manufacturing techniques and logistics. His innate curiosity, “can do” attitude, and 20+ years of CAD experience will be an asset to Action Engineering’s role as a Model-Based Definition and Digital Enterprise leader.
Jennifer Herron, CEO of Action Engineering, adds, “Duane worked for Action in the past as a contractor, and we are delighted that he agreed to join our team permanently. His breadth of knowledge and superior communication methods will extend Action’s customer service.”
Duane holds a B.S. in Management from the University of Phoenix, and an Associate’s in Drafting from ITT Technical Institute. In his spare time, Duane likes to build with LEGO elements, play Minecraft, and do woodworking. He, his equally creative wife, and two active teenagers live in the suburbs of Denver.
