Global Product Data Interoperability Summit
The Global Product Data Interoperability Summit functions as a communications hub for industry principals to foster knowledge through the exchange of ideas, solutions, and methods. It also builds consensus for tool and process standards in the industry. This event started as collaboration of aerospace manufacturers focused on making digital data more consumable and shareable. GPDIS has now grown to encompass all industries working together to achieve the same goals and to share knowledge.
2018 Theme: Value-Driven Autonomous Systems through Data Interoperability
There will be two open workshops for attendees this year and as a change to the 2017 agenda, they will now be Wednesday morning, concluding the open sessions. MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering) will hold a workshop that emphasizes how solution providers and standards organizations are addressing the needs for MBSE interoperability, data extraction, and data linking across different model types. Emergent Technologies (ET) will be holding the other workshop and emphasize extending Industry 4.0 concepts to facilitate the Digital Reinvention of the aviation industry. Both workshop abstracts will be placed on the GPDIS website for more information.
